Brighton Jobs - Female Personal Assistant -
Hello there. I am a cat loving (and owning) female psychology student in my twenties. I have cerebral palsy and I am looking for assistance with the following:
o Tidying, hovering, washing-up, laundry and some ironing
o Caring for my cat
o Food shopping
o Post office/errands\
o Filing and correspondence
o Food preparation/occasional cooking
o Assisting on outings – such as cinema, vets, meditation, shopping (I sometimes use my wheelchair when shopping), plus other miscellaneous trips.
I have a very loving and loveable cat who is very receptive to cuddling and playing so it is important that you like her. She is an indoor cat and therefore I would require you to be responsible about keeping her safe inside.
The successful applicant will need to:
o Be efficient in the work they do for me
o Respect that while your here I will need to study i.e. minimal distraction
o Have a mature minded, flexible and supportive approach to the work they do
o Be content to do things differently to how you may do them for yourself
o Be content to work in a non-smoking environment
o Be able to work 7 days a week or at least 6
o Complete a trial period before the position becomes permanent
o Car owner / driver essential.
o Someone local to Lewes Road/The Level area would be preferable.
o Parking is not an issue.
o Mileage will be paid at 40p per mile when using your vehicle on these outings.
o I will pay a starting rate of £7.50 per hour
Hours to be arranged on a week to week basis so some flexibility is required. Hours will range from 6-11 hours per week
